How do I set up WePay?

WePay is the default payment processors for fundraisers where U.S. or Canadian dollars are chosen as the fundraiser currency.

You will be eligible to set up a WePay account with YouCaring if you have a valid U.S. Social Security Number and U.S. Bank account, or if you have a valid Canadian GST/HST number and Canadian bank account. 

After you've set up a fundraiser with YouCaring, WePay will send you, or your beneficiary a confirmation email to complete the account set up and link a bank account! We recommend that you follow the prompts in your WePay setup email as soon as possible. 

Don't see the WePay confirmation email? Be sure to check your spam folders in case it went there. If you still don't see it, contact us at by using the 'Submit a request' option at the bottom of this article or live chatting with a representative. 

If you have an existing fundraiser using PayPal and wish to switch to WePay, please contact us using the 'Submit a request' option below.
